CANCELLATION POLICY OVERVIEW

CANCELLATIONS, DATE MODIFICATIONS AND REFUNDS

We reserve right to adapt our policies at any time to best protect our guests, our property caretakers as well as preserve the long term sustainability of PonoMana Oasis.

If you have to cancel, please inform us immediately by e-mail PonoManaRentals (at) gmail.com. We will respond within two (2) to four (4) business days with a confirmation and the steps to take to continue the process.

If you have not heard from someone from PonoMana Oasis within five (5) business days please follow up again as we have all learned email is never 100% reliable.

No changes can be considered accepted until issue of the change reference is generated which will be required to reference in any subsequent correspondence.

All cancellation, rescheduling and replacement charges will be based on the total cost of the PonoMana Oasis accommodation(s). Any discount offer originally made will be void and not considered in the process.

Choosing to modify reservation (i.e. moving dates entirely to another week or month) will be considered a cancellation of current reservation*.

91 + days before reservation:
100% of payment will be returned.

61 – 90 days before reservation*:
20% of payment will be applied as an admin fee.
80% of payment will be returned minus any third party fees (i.e. credit card, Paypal…).

However, if travel restrictions* are imposed, then 100% of deposits will instead be made available as a credit for a future reservation.
Starting the day the current travel restrictions are released, the credits will be available for 12 months.

46 – 60 days before reservation*:
30% of payment will be applied as an admin fee.
70% of payment will be transferred as available credits to a new reservation – available for 12 months.

However, if travel restrictions* are imposed, then 100% of deposits will instead be made available as a credit for a future reservation.
Starting the day the current travel restrictions are released, the credits will be available for 12 months.

45 days or less before reservation*:
No refunds available.

However, if travel restrictions* are imposed, then 100% of deposits will instead be made available as a credit for a future reservation.
Starting the day the current travel restrictions are released, the credits will be available for 12 months.

*Exceptions will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

ASSESSING A TRAVEL RESTRICTION

*Travel Restriction Definition: 1) Hawaii prohibits* non-residences from entering the state or 2) State, Provence or Country prohibits* their residence from leaving their State, Provence or Country.
• If a State, Provence or Country imposes a stay “Stay at home” order for their area and resident citizen is still able to board a plane, will not constitute as a travel restriction.
• If a State, Provence or Country requires their resident citizen to quarantine upon re-entering a State, Provence or Country will not constitute as a travel restriction.
• If a test/vaccination is required to board a plane or arrive in Hawaii will not constitute as a travel restriction.
• If a  test/vaccination is required upon entering or re-entering a State, Provence or Country will not constitute as a travel restriction.

A representative from PonoMana Oasis may reach out, via email, to the ‘point of contact’ if modifying dates need to be considered. If you have not heard from a PonoMana Oasis representative, it is your responsibility to contact PonoMana Oasis inquiring the current status of your reservation and if date modification is an option/necessary.

• If PonoMana Oasis is in agreement that date modification is necessary due to most current travel restrictions*, 100% of your current deposits/payment will be made available as a credit towards a future reservation.
• Starting the day the travel restrictions are released, the credits will be available for 12 months.
Exceptions will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

PRICE – Payment

Your payment is in exchange for the accommodation(s), outlined on the website. Flight, transportation and additional services not outlined are not included.

Individual Vacation Rental – Payment:

• Must be paid in full at time of booking.

• Payment must be made using PayPal, Credit Card, Zelle or wire transfer.

UNUSED SERVICES OR DAYS NOT ATTENDED

No refunds will be made for any unused services or if you choose not to attend certain days.

MOTHER NATURE, LIFE AND ANY OTHER OUTSIDE FORCES

The PonoMana Oasis is subject to weather conditions. Mother Nature and other outside forces, including and not limited to travel to and from PonoMana Oasis is not under our control. We are not responsible for any cancellations or delays outside of PonoMana Oasis. We are unable to refund or pay compensation due to unavoidable occurrences including severe weather, transportation delays terrorist activity, natural disaster or fire.

We strongly encourage you to obtain travel insurance. We do not provide travel/program cancellation insurance that covers these eventualities.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

It is solely your responsibility to ensure compliance with the entry requirements into the USA no refunds will be made if any situation results in your being denied entry.

DELAYS

PonoMana Oasis is not responsible for delays at any stage of travel to or from the property. No credit will be given for missed days.
